Immediately after the political changes in the 1990s, mass private business in Bulgaria took its first steps. The rapidly changing economic environment is leading to the emergence of many new companies, one of which is Ravena Ltd. At its core, Ravena Ltd is a technology company established in the distant 1994 in the city of Sofia, Bulgaria. The history of the company is inextricably linked with the maturation and expansion of the Bulgarian business on a national and international level.

The company's first steps are related to the import and sale of high-tech electronic devices and components for the automotive industry, production of renowned world-famous brands. Ravena Ltd specializes in the trade of security systems, chip tuning, multimedia and audio systems, Bluetooth hands-free devices, cameras and parking sensors, as well as many other products and accessories for cars. Over the years until the beginning of the new century, Ravena Ltd became the official importer of a number of high-tech international companies, having a well-developed network of distributors in Bulgaria, including car dealerships and their dealers, official car repair shops, installation and tuning centers.
As an expression of the high quality of the offered products and services, in 2008 the company was certified under EN ISO 9001:2000 by Aenor International (Spain) and IQ-Net (Switzerland).

In parallel with this, since 1997, the company has been offering its customers various types of insurance from several insurance companies, which complements the range of services and products in its portfolio.

A new era for the company is the establishment of a software department in 2009 under the Skywatch brand, which marks a significant change in priorities and is the cornerstone laying the foundation for the modern direction of development of Ravena Ltd and the expansion to international markets.

At present, the company is a provider of services and hardware products in the field of telematics, working on its own developments for GPS car tracking, automatic remote download of data from tachographs and driver cards, automatic payment of e-toll fees, application for delivery optimization. 
The company's software products are used in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Since 2019, Ravena Ltd. has started offering its distributors SIM cards for Internet connectivity and SMS, which closes the circle of software-hardware-connectivity.

A year later, it was certified according to ISO 2001:2015 by AQ Cert (Alfa Quality Certification), and the certificate covers all aspects of the activities of Ravena OOD.
